Houses of Africa.
These are typical, MIDDLE CLASS HOMES from different areas of Africa.
This is Africa, our Africa
Why yes my dear the middle class houses in Africa are grander than the ones in America.
yup, these aren’t houses of the rich. these are TYPICAL houses for most Africans.
I don’t think the definition of middle class and typical were drilled into my head enough. I feel like a need a few more euphemisms. Can anybody out there please provide another comment letting me know that this is an average African household?
Well because white media has made it a point to drill into the heads of the world that middle class doesn’t even exist in Africa.
Literally they don’t want you to think that Africans live normal lives and drive cars and have cell phones laptops electricity or water. Which is very FALSE
That is an example of white supremacy; seeing Brown and Black countries doing well and masking them to go to predominantly poor areas making it seem like ALL of Africa is just poor.
I mean the average African home has maids, a nanny, a cook, and a driver. This is what the white media hides though. They don’t want you to know the real Africa
This bothers me. Yes, there are great parts of Africa. Its a continent. There are many ‘civilized’ countries there. There’s also a lot of poor and war torn countries in there too. There are fancy parts and middle class parts of even some of the poorest countries. That doesn’t take away the fact that there is a whole lot of good that sending aid there can do. Its not about white supremacy.
So maybe the average South African home has maids, or the average Egyptian home, etc, but I would not say that the average AFRICAN home has those amenities. Its ridiculous. ITS A CONTINENT.
I think the bigger issue is constantly referring to places in Africa as Africa. Perhaps if we said sending aid to the Rwanda, Congo, or Uganda, instead of Africa, then it becomes real. Then you get the concept of where its ‘like us’ and where its horrible living conditions.
